Ryanne Hodson and Jay Dedman of Ryanishungry.com have prepared an awesome primer on Open Video—check it out!

Some background: in October 2008, the Open Video Alliance hosted a stakeholder meeting at Yale Law School. Representatives from many diverse organizations came to share their hopes and fears for online video—and strategies for building an open video ecosystem. Ryanne and Jay were there, and they captured the sentiments of the assembled artists, businesspeople, and policymakers as they answered a simple question: “What’s Open Video?”
